The Friel Place, Kensington house was a wreck. The broker wouldn’t show the basement. She said it was so full of the owner’s possessions, moved from of the upper floors, that it was impossible to walk in. Tiny yard, too.
I thought the house needed to be gutted and then the owner would be left with 2 modestly sized apartments that couldn’t easily be combined into a single family.
That shows the strength of the market, even in supposedly “affordable” Kensington.
