This two-family townhouse in East Williamsburg is wide and deep. The home is 23 feet across and 49 feet long. But there are some oddities. More than seven feet of that width on the garden floor is taken up by a 49 foot long garage, making parking for more than a few cars easy, if you are exceptionally skinny or can exit through your sunroof. There are few windows on the front of the building because of the garage and the garden unit is small. But there are some upsides too.

The home comes with a second building at the back of the lot which is currently used as music studio. It has a bedroom and a toilet, though no sink or shower. The home appears to be recently renovated. Although it’s very close to the BQE, it is also near McCarren Park. And the listing says there is additional FAR for expansion.

The ask seems ambitions at $2,100,000 for what the broker says is a 2,500 square foot home. What do you think?
