Pharmacy Takes Over Jackie's 5th Amendment in Park Slope

Longtime Park Slope bar, Jackie’s 5th Amendment, has been taken over by a neighboring pharmacy after closing in October. Park Slope Stoop reports that Slope Drugs and Surgical Supply has finished expanding into the old Jackie’s space at 404 5th Avenue.

The pharmacy owners removed the awning and completely remodeled the interior. The bar, which once petitioned to secede from the Slope, had been open since the mid-70s and possibly as far back as Prohibition.
