We found this design for a five-story building on the construction fence at 535 Classon Avenue in Bed Stuy. It looks like an office building to us, but a new-building permit indicates it will have 39 apartments over 26,000 square feet.
The developer is Kahen Properties and the applicant of record is Afshari PC. BuzzBuzzHome wrote about the permit last year. The property appears to have changed hands in 2002, but for an unspecified amount.
A peek through a small opening in the construction fence revealed workers are putting in the foundation. What do you think of the design?
