Four-Story, Eight-Unit Building Going up on Cooper Street in Bushwick

by

Workers are digging the foundation for a four-story, eight-unit building planned for an empty lot at 37A Cooper Street in Bushwick. Next to a community garden, the lot looks narrow but is actually 25 feet wide by 100 feet deep.

A new-building permit was issued in February. The property last changed hands in 2012 for $125,000. (Now the land would be worth twice that.) It’s between Broadway and Bushwick Avenue.

We couldn’t get a great photo of the rendering since it was placed high on the construction fence, but it shows a pretty standard building with a brick facade. Click through to the jump to see it and the work going on behind the fence.
