Here’s a renovated four-bedroom, two-bath upper duplex in a Bed Stuy brownstone. The photos could definitely be better, but the listing says it has a new kitchen and bathrooms, marble fireplace mantels and a washer/dryer.
The 1,500-square-foot pad appears to have a strip kitchen in the living room, but it’s hard to tell much from the tight photos. It looks like the top floor has low ceilings in the front.
It’s located about four blocks to the Kosciuszko Street J stop and eight to the J and M trains at Myrtle Avenue. Asking rent is $4,500, which shakes out to $1,125 per bedroom. Do you think the rent is fair?

Overpriced, by about $1K in my view. Those little windows and severely sloped ceilings on the top floor make a huge difference.
