Someone spent a lot of dough on the recent updating of this two-bedroom apartment at 412 8th Avenue in Park Slope. The finishes are modern and high end but appear to work nicely within the prewar envelope. Our favorite part of the listing verbiage is the description of the “sociable Tea-for-Two tub.” Asking price for the 892-square-foot pad is $929,000.

  1. Boy, I really disagree. One small window in each bedroom is too few in my opinion. Also if you have a kid, the location of the second bedroom is quite lousy both for being next to the livingroom and on the street, especially since this appears to be on the first floor. There’s no good, not-crammed place for an eating table. But I do think it’s very well renovated and it looks sleek while still looking comfortable. The worst part is the likely Methodist expansion is going to make this location a construction zone for years to come.
