Developer Adam America recently posted this rendering of a two-building rental development at 247 North 7th Street in Williamsburg, a long-stalled construction site where work recently restarted. The project’s 169 units will be spread across two connected buildings rising six and seven stories, according to Adam America’s website.

The site’s first round of building permits date from 2006, and the vacant property has changed hands three times since then. Rieder Holdings bought the site between Roebling and Havermeyer for $12,000,000 in 2011, then Silverstone Property Group paid $21,600,000 for it in 2012, and finally Adam America took it over last year, according to PropertyShark. Permits list David Tanenbaum of Lilker Associates as both architect and engineer.

When we stopped by, it looked like the foundation was going in. Click through to the jump for a photo. What do you think of the building design?
