Regarding Methodist hospital:
a.) Perhaps if more people from Park Slope actually went to their neighborhood hospital rather than taking car service to fancier Manhattan ones (particularly for baby deliveries), they would realize it does in fact serve a significant low-income population
b.) Lack of self awareness and self-entitled NIMBYism is truly impressive — many poorer neighborhoods and districts in economic transition across the country would be delighted to have growth in healthcare services
