Brook Farm Closes Williamsburg Store

We are sad to report that Monday was the last day for Brook Farm General Store in Williamsburg. After the birth of her second child, the owner decided it was time to move out of town. The online store will carry on, though, and it’s possible the owner will open a new brick and mortar store in her new, as-yet-undisclosed location.

Over the years, we bought many beautiful and useful things there, including a toothbrush holder, an olive basket for laundry, wire mesh baskets for sorting recycling, linen trays for the pantry, linen dish cloths, and scrub brushes. It was a beautiful store that was fun to visit and we will miss it.

  • I’ll miss it too! It was my favorite store (which says a lot cause I’m not a shopper). I got great things there in their early days when the south side was undeveloped. Luckily I made it to their store Monday for some sale items!
