The steel skeleton of a seven-story luxury rental development is going up at 500 Sterling Place between Washington and Classon Avenues. When construction started in June, the developers were  planning only five stories and 38 units, but the latest new building permit says seven stories and 77 units with a total of 53,086 square feet. We found the above rendering posted on the construction fence. Developer Silverstone Property Group bought the 9,650-square-foot lot for $5,950,000 last year, according to PropertyShark. The architect is ND Architecture and Design PC, or Newman Design.

  1. Not impressive but better than much of the kaka that goes up these days. These will ikely go fast for the reasons neogreco mentions above. There are more of these new unit popping up around Franklin, and the coming of 1000 Dean project will make an already fast improving neighborhood even better.
