Here’s another Bed Stuy house with tons of historic detail from Evans & Nye. This one has an interesting backstory: 615 Jefferson Avenue is also the name of a book of photographs by its famous owner, photographer David Armstrong. The Romanesque Revival sandstone was designed by Brooklyn architect Isaac Delamater Reynolds in 1891, according to the listing.

Vintage features include the entry lights, a red Chambers stove, a 1930s farmhouse sink, parquet floors, wood mantels, tile and stained glass. Technically, the property is an SRO, but it has been used as a one-family for the past 13 years and has a certificate of non-harassment, the listing says.
