The brownstone at 407 Stuyvesant Avenue is back on the market, this time asking $1,650,000. It was a HOTD in 2011, when it was asking $925,000, but never sold, according to public records. In August, Brown Harris Stevens listed it at $1,800,000 but dropped the price to the current ask in mid-September. Configured as an owner’s triplex with a rental on the top floor, the place has oodles of gorgeous details, such as fireplaces with Minton-style tile. There are no photos of kitchens or baths. Last time around, a commenter claimed there is a leaking oil tank buried on the property. Do you think the house will find a buyer now, given how much the market has changed?
