It looks like CVS is opening soon in the long-vacant storefront next to Chase Bank on the busy corner of Flabush and Nevins in downtown Brooklyn. Construction has been going on inside the store for a couple months, but CVS signage just went up above the Flatbush side of the space in the last couple days. The interior looks close to finished, and we’re guessing the opening will happen in the next couple weeks. CVS signed a lease back in March with ConEd, which owns the hulking 1970s-era office building with an official address of 38 Flatbush, according to PropertyShark.

Wow, I though Duane Reade had cornered the market on scumminess. Everything is dirty and there’s always boxes obstructing the aisles. Hate DR. CVS is light years ahead, IMO.
