The massive 11-story residential development at 146 South 4th Street in South Williamsburg is coming along quickly. The windows are in, and the exterior looked close to completion when we stopped by last week. Even better, the building actually looks like the rendering we posted back in April, designed by ND Architecture LLC.

This site was stalled for years, then construction started about a year ago. A few blocks away on Broadway, the similarly large — but quite different looking — building at 53 Broadway started leasing in July.

When 146 South 4th Street is finished, it will have 76,745 square feet, 113 rental apartments, 79 parking spots, a gym, and a rooftop terrace. In the spring, developer Rabsky Group projected that construction would finish this month, but it looks like they’re going to need more time.
