345-state-street

After many years of delay, work finally appears to be underway on the townhouse development at 345-353 State Street in Boerum Hill. A tipster sent us this photo which shows construction equipment on the site. Developers originally submitted plans for the State Renaissance Townhouses to the buildings department back in 2011 but nothing has happened here for years. Renderings for the interiors were released back in early 2012 and permits were issued earlier this summer. According to buildings department permits, the site will have four two-family townhouses and three single-family townhouses alternating next to each other. Here are the permits for 345, 347, 347A, 349, 349A, 351 and 353. A sign on the wooden fence indicates the construction will be complete by  2014, however, its unclear how long the sign has been up and whether that date is still valid.
