Royal Video Is Shuttering on Flatbush Avenue

Royal Video will shutter at 317 Flatbush Avenue, at Prospect Place, by the end of the month. There’s now a sale going on for all remaining videos. The video store has been on Flatbush Avenue for 28 years — they were originally located in the now Woodland (aka Prime Six) space. The owners are saying that the arrival of the Barclays Center hit them hard, but there’s also no denying that the video store is a dying breed. GMAP
