Williamsburg's Marbleworks Lofts All Rented

A reader sent in the above photo with the news that the corner building at Metropolitan and Driggs, 641 Driggs Avenue, is totally rented out. The factory conversion (now called the Marbleworks Lofts) was still under construction when leasing for the 25 units began this spring. Two-bedrooms started at $3,450 a month. There are also six ground-floor retail units that are now available for occupancy. Word is that a clothing store and a wine bar have signed leases in two of the spaces, and the owners are open to any commercial use for those still for rent. The building traded for $7,000,000 in 2010 when it looked very different than it does today.
