Brooklyn Bridge Park Farmer's Market Opens Sunday

Down to Earth Markets is launching a weekly farmers market at Brooklyn Bridge Park this Sunday. It will run on Pier 6 from 11 am to 5 pm every Sunday until November 24. The market will feature all the good stuff: produce, fresh fish, meat, pickles, prepared foods and baked goods. The full season vendors who have signed on include American Pride Seafood, D&J Organic Farm, Garden of Eve Organic Farm, Horman’s Best Pickles, Jersey Farm Produce, La Newyorkina (selling Mexican‐style ices and sweets), and Gowanus bakery Runner and Stone. The ribbon cutting for the farmer’s market will be held this Sunday at noon. Borough President Marty Markowitz will be in attendance.
