Xi’an Famous Foods will be opening up shop in East Williamsburg after closing its East Broadway outpost in Manhattan. The noodle shop, well-known for its creative dishes like its spicy and tingly lamb face salad and for appearances on Anthony Bourdain’s “No Reservations,” The Food Network and Cooking Channel among others, will open in this industrial, out of the way corner of Williamsburg on Saturday. Its St. Marks location will remain open in Manhattan. This new outpost will be a small storefront connected to its central kitchen facility. Xi’an Famous’ facebook page is offering coupons for a free burger or noodle dish for its grand opening on Saturday. Sounds like it will be the best, if not the only, restaurant for several blocks.
