Aptsandlofts.com listed a few rental units at 202 8th Street, the 43-unit development long under construction over in Gowanus. The final product is quite different than the last rendering we got our hands on. So what’s on the price tag? For a three bedroom, $8,500/month. A studio’s going for $3,475/month and the cheapest unit listed is a one bedroom for $2,950. Those are quite the bold prices for Gowanus, even if it’s just west of 4th Avenue. Units come with a private landscaped courtyard, a furnished roof deck, a gym and part time doorman. There aren’t any interior photos yet, but here are some details from the listing: “high ceilings and solid oak flooring…oversized balconies and terraces…Marble countertops and backsplash set an elegant stage for serving farm-to-table feasts.”
