  • It was pretty good and I’d recommend it. Seemed to taste better and fresher than Bombay Masala up the street. I did have takeout though, which for some reason is a different menu than eat-in. The decor is lacking and they really need to spruce it up (no music playing, nothing on the walls, an odd led chandalier). They’re going to have to make a better effort given the well-loved competitor.

  • We also had takeout the other day and it was quite good.

  • We are long-time fans of yummy Bombay Masala and their attentive staff. But… being thrilled to see a new business at the long-shuttered corner of Franklin & Sterling, we wanted to give the newcomers a chance.

We ordered takeout and I chatted with the owner when I picked up the food. He was extremely friendly and seemed excited to be there. Our dinner was delicious–we had veggie pakora, chicken curry, basmati rice and rice pudding. We will return.
