North Brooklyn
Cobble Hill’s popular bakery Bien Cuit will launch a pop-up shop in Williamsburg, at 439 Metropolitan Avenue. They will sell bread on Friday afternoons and on Saturdays and Sundays, from mid-morning until the bread sells out. The photo of their Cobble Hill shop above is by justcooknyc. Williamsburg bar Lucky Dog is expanding into the old Bar Berry space. The owners plan to open the new space in late February or early March. The huge Wythe Avenue club Output opened on Friday. Anybody go dancing this weekend? Andrew Tarlow spills details on his new Greenpoint bar under construction, Achilles Heel. Also in Greenpoint, the health department is shutting down neighborhood pizza joints.

Park Slope
A preschool called Mozart and Einstein’s is opening in the 6,200-square-foot commercial space at The Park Union. The creative/arts preschool will begin accepting applications in February 2013 with an expected opening in the following summer. The fitness studio Body Unique is moving into the ground floor of Arias Park Slope, on 4th Avenue. Tommy’s Famous Cheesesteaks and Pizza is coming soon to 5th Avenue, at 9th Street. Finally, a juice, smoothie and healthy snack shop called Stoop Juice is getting ready to open on Seventh Avenue between 15th and 16th Streets.

Elsewhere
Jaques Torres just leased a football-field sized space at the Brooklyn Army Terminal in Sunset Park to use for chocolate manufacturing. It will also serve as a tourist attraction, with a chocolate powder room and an ice cream room. An upscale grocery store will open on the corner of Lincoln and Flatbush within three weeks, and a new coffee joint will move into K-Dog’s old space within the month in Propsect Lefferts Gardens. In Cobble Hill, a tipster spotted Tropical Juice Bar and Grill, which replaced Wyckoff’s Corner Pharmacy on the corner of Wyckoff and Court Street. The pharmacy moved just nearby and you can see a photo of the new joint after the jump. And in Bed Stuy, we got word that Mannys on Patchen is closed for four weeks to redo their kitchen. When they open, they may be offering hot food.
