Park Slope
Yogurtland is now open in Park Slope, more specifically on 7th Avenue and 3rd Street. Here’s Park Slope says they have 16 self-serve yogurt varieties and 40 different toppings. Here’s Park Slope also checked out the new, larger Franny’s coming along on Flatbush between Sterling Place and Eighth Avenue. That’s a photo of the space above from their Facebook page. They will open within one month. Also on Flatbush, there’s signage up for the hotly debated club Kemistry, while Posh Pets closed up shop. And the blog All About Fifth rounds up recent openings and closings on the avenue, which includes a tattoo shop moving into 635 Fifth Avenue.

North Brooklyn
A restaurant called Little Dokebi is slated to open near McGolrick Park in Greenpoint. The Asian fusion restaurant Bon! Asian Spice Cafe (previously Mochi) is open at 140 St. Nicholas Avenue in Bushwick. And the DOB shuttured Williamsburg’s only cigar lounge, The Velvet Lounge, after they found an illegal dwelling built into the back of the bar.

Elsewhere
The Court Street restaurant Bourgeois Pig is closed for renovations in Carroll Gardens, but Pardon Me For Asking wonders if it’s shuttered for good. A new bar and restaurant called Catfish opened on Bedford Avenue in Crown Heights. In Windsor Terrace, the Hallmark on Prospect Park West is closing and the grocery store next door will expand into the space. (Good news since the Key Foods shuttered last year.) And the Clinton Hill, Myrtle Avenue record store Dope Jams will close at the end of this month after seven years on the avenue. The owners cited financial troubles as the reason.
