Runner and Stone Opened This Week

This week Flea favorite Runner and Stone opened its brick-and-mortar cafe in Gowanus. Gowanus Your Face Off reports that the old law office at 285 3rd Avenue was impressively transformed into a two-story bakery and restaurant. Check out the breakfast, lunch and dinner menus here. Dinner features pasta, braised lamb breast and roasted chicken. The cafe serves up a huge selection of pastries and breads. GYFO notes that this is yet another dramatic shift in the commercial landscape on 3rd Avenue, which now has a growing selection of restaurants and shops.
