We wish more renovators were able to fit a modern aesthetic into an old house so deftly. The biggest drawback of this one-family brick is the small backyard space, but we think with some canny landscaping, it could make a showstopper dining patio, although it will never be big enough for the kids to run amok. The location is close to the BQE in southern Carroll Gardens, but just far enough away not to be a deal breaker. For $2,900,000, do you like it?
