Curbed brought this house to our attention. It’s not to our taste, to put it mildly, but we know somewhere out there is a buyer for this. The ask of $1,150,000 reminds us of how the Bed Stuy market has taken off in the last few months. In 2009, this would have been priced at about $550,000 or so. In fact, we’ll be surprised if it goes for more than about $850,000 now. But we shall see. Do you think it will go into contract quickly?

This four-story brownstone at 789 Quincy Street has a nice amount of original detail, but looks like it could use a little polishing.
