Subway service is at 84 percent capacity as of this morning, a pretty impressive feat for the MTA considering the hurricane hit only one week ago. Most lines are running, except the L and G trains. The entire system has full power but residual flooding is preventing select stations and the entire L and G train lines from opening. The last remaining flooded stations are expected to be pumped out sometime later this week. Below, a reader photo of the line for the ferry in North Williamsburg, taken this morning from an apartment in The Edge. WNYC reported the line stretched for blocks. Sadly, restoring the train lines to the Rockaways will take months, because the Broad Channel Crossing must be rebuilt.
