How much for a one-bedroom in a newish apartment building in Bed Stuy? $1,950 per month. Think that’s reasonable for new finishes, big windows and two balcony spaces? Seems a tad high to us.

  1. Clearly, you have not actually spent much time in Bed Stuy as of late. White people (gentrification/colonization) are every where, therefore the rents have gone up and services have come (which in turn brings more white people). People think that the Clinton Hill and the Fort Greene they see today have been around for 50 years. Those changes took place recently within the last 10-15 years. Now that Clinton Hill and Fort Greene are reaching saturation levels, there is no where to go but Bed Stuy and Bushwick. I mean look at Williamsburg. Not to mention, there are a finite amount of Brownstones in NYC and we know everyone loves them! I am just stating the obvious.
