A huge site that spans multiple lots and takes up nearly half a block in Gowanus is up for sale, according to Massey Knakal, which is marketing the property. Currently used mostly for parking, the site at 313 to 319 Bond Street near President is about 31,500 square feet with approximately 63,000 buildable square feet. The photo above shows only a partial view of the property, which is zoned for M2-1, or industrial use, with a FAR of 2.0. (Though Massey Knakal noted it was included in the MX Waterfront North proposed rezoning with a residential FAR of 2.5 to 3.3 and inclusionary housing bonuses.) It is on the border of a high risk area for flooding on the FEMA map, according to PropertyShark. The ask is $11,500,000. Also, not too far away, Massey Knakal is also marketing a retail lease for 224 Fourth Avenue, on the corner of Union.
