The Big Reveal at 910 Union Street

Someone over at 910 Union Street must have gotten our memo: the netting is now down at the new fifteen-unit condo building. How do you think it stacks up to the rendering? The signs on the building advertise it as “The Park Union.” There are no listings up on Streeteasy but the website says that the one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments are priced from $795,000.

  • While the original low-rise structure wasn’t great it did have nice classical features and proportions; the only issue you could have with it was that it was too short and incongruent with it’s surroundings. While the new height is better, the classicism has been largely erased, leaving the bottom floors looking butchered. I’m sure the views from the apartments will be great, and the upper floors look fine, but from the sidewalk in front that leaves me saying “what could they have been thinking?” Still, it could have been much worse, if the original renderings from 18 months ago were anything to go by. With this reveal, my final verdict would be “meh!”

  • Much better deals, and much nicer units with amazing prewar charm, just down the block, at 882 Union Street.
