Closing Bell: A Taste of Red Hook

Next week it’s A Taste of Red Hook, a food extravaganza and the Red Hook Initiative’s only fundraising event for the year. Dinner will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 23 at 159 Pioneer Street, and a silent auction will follow. Over 35 local businesses will donate their signature dish or drink and there are over 30 items to bid on (including Brooklyn Nets tickets). The Red Hook Initiative is a local community organization that works with young people. All the proceeds from the event support the work of the 80 employees at RHI, all but three of whom are from Red Hook. Buy your tickets right here.
