Brokers Proliferating in Red Hook, Bed Stuy

AVita Realty recently hung out a shingle in Red Hook, after moving into a space at the rear of 291 Van Brunt that fronts Pioneer a few months ago, according to a reader who sent in this photo. It joins other firms in the area such as Rapid Realty and Realty Collective, which shares space with Gallery Brooklyn at 351 Van Brunt. Meanwhile, another tipster tells us that over in Bed Stuy, Evans & Nye plans to open a storefront office at 378 Tompkins Ave in November. The space was previously occupied by the boutique Fashion Runway. Other real estate firms with storefront space in Bed Stuy include longtimers Stuyvesant Heights Brokerage and Flateau Realty.
