The space at 364 Atlantic Avenue is being renovated. It formerly housed Downtown Atlantic, a restaurant, bar and bakery that served comfort food and was known for its cupcakes. The formerly green exterior has been painted red. An alt-2 permit in the window dated July 24 says contractor Christopher Balasic will renovate and enlarge the “existing store” for an “eating and drinking place.” GMAP
