The Department of Buildings just approved demolition permits for the warehouse at 96 Wythe Avenue, between North 10th and North 11th streets. This Real Deal article, published this summer, shed light on the coming development: “A 150-room hotel is slated to rise on site, with completion expected within the next 24 months.” Residential development firm Heritage Equity Partners paid $4.85 million for the site, according to public records. This development is going up only a block away from the Wythe Hotel, which opened to a lot of buzz this May. According to The Real Deal, the firm is also undertaking a 50-unit rental building at 310 North 7th Street. They paid $9.5 million for the site this past summer.
