Grub Street reports that the Scandinavian bakery in Bay Ridge, Leske’s, is opening under new ownership today. According to Grub Street, “The move has the blessing of the Leske family, and much of the old staff will return, with the same Scandinavian recipes — plus black-and-white cookies.” They will be giving out free cookies at the shop today until they run out. Park Slope
FIPS notes that the Konditori Espresso Bar was shuttered by the Department of Health. And Park Slope Stoop spots “For Rent” signs at the former 5th Ave Brooklyn Bread space. Here’s Park Slope writes that Yogo Monster will close in October, Coco Roco was also shuttered by the Department of Health, and longtime Slope business Bob and Judi’s Coolectibles is officially done for at 217 5th Avenue.

Ditmas Park
An auto parts shop is moving into the commercial space on the corner of Cortelyou and Coney Island Avenue, says Ditmas Park Corner. They also report that Caribbean/Mexican grill Adelynn’s just opened on Newkirk Avenue.

Bushwick/Williamsburg
DNA Info covers new southern restaurant now open on 1084 Flushing Avenue, Mama Joy’s. The San Francisco restaurant Rosamunde Sausage Grill is expanding to South Brooklyn and will feature lots of sausage, beer, and homemade sodas. It’ll open in the old Masten Lake spot later this month. And Andrew Tarlow changed the name of his Wythe Hotel restaurant from Reynards to Reynard. Just keeping you in the loop, folks.
