Grand Cobble Hill Apartment Building Closes for $4.5M

The corner limestone apartment building at 173 Amity Street in Cobble Hill, in the same family for 70 years, has sold for $4.5 million in an all-cash deal on Aug. 14, according to Vespa Properties Group, which brokered the sale. In excellent condition with abundant original details, according to Vespa, the building has eight units, some of which are free market and others rent controlled and rent stabilized. While the listing does not show interiors, it does describe the apartments, each of which are at least 1,400 square feet with three or four bedrooms, formal dining rooms, bay windows, non-working fireplaces, moldings, transoms and dumbwaiters. The property is also known as 213 Clinton Street. The original ask was $5.5 million.
