Ozzie’s was a popular neighborhood coffee hang-out at the corner of Seventh Avenue and Lincoln Place for 18 years, so there were some big shoes to fill when it closed last August. A new spot called Cafe Dada looks poised to do so. The new venture between the owner of Couleur Cafe down Seventh Avenue opened this morning. Park Slope Patch, which reported on the opening, described the interiors: “The café is characterized by dark wood, historic attributes and shabby-chic additions, like how the counters, one for coffee and one for food and wine, are lined with old wooden window shutters.” Are neighborhood folks excited?
