Just two doors down from the recently-opened Le Petit Bakery, a new burger spot will be opening in a refurbished storefront at 358 Myrtle Avenue. The new restaurant, which will be called Burger Ur Way, will be the second burger place to open on Myrtle this summer–Mark’s Gourmet Burgers launch at 441 Myrtle last week. Both Burger Ur Way and Le Petit Bakery received $7,000 in aid to fix up their storefronts as part of a larger effort to bring back to life the corner building at 253-360 Myrtle after a fire ripped through it last year. In addition to the storefronts, the Myrtle Avenue BID is has provided a large Main Street grant to fix up the building facade and the residential units above. Burger Ur Way is something of a chain already, with a handful of locations already in Flatbush and elsewhere in Southeast Brooklyn. GMAP
