Old Fulton Street Getting Planted Medians

There’s some serious streetscaping happening on Old Fulton Street right now. Starting last week, DOT is building a half dozen new medians between Hicks Street and the park. The first two under way are the biggest and will feature several planted trees. Seems like a good idea given what how wide the street is and how many tourists pass through here. The medians are part of a larger makeover of the streets in the area that can be viewed in this DOT slideshow.
