Touch-a-Truck Brooklyn
On April 28th, PS295, The Studio School for Arts & Culture will host Brooklyn’s second Touch-A-Truck street fair. At this exciting family event, kids will have a chance to climb inside and explore some of the working trucks and vehicles they see in everyday life. PS 295 Touch-A-Truck Brooklyn will take place between 12 P.M. and 5 P.M., rain or shine, and tickets are $5 per person (no charge for infants under six months). The fair will run the length of 18th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues, next to PS 295, which lies at the intersection of Park Slope, Windsor Terrace and Sunset Park.Building on the popularity of last year’s event, Touch-A-Truck Brooklyn 2012 will be bigger and better than ever: more trucks, longer hours, shorter lines, and even more great food. Over 20 vehicles are scheduled to take part in the event.

2012 Church Avenue Street Fair
When: Sunday April 29, 2012 (12:00pm – 6:00pm). Where: Church Avenue from E. 10th St. to Argyle Road. Great shopping, delicious food, and family-friendly fun. Shayna’s (Church Ave./E. 10th St.) will be making their famous roti, Am-Thai (Church Ave./ E.10th St.) will offer savory spring rolls and dumplings, and a soon-to-open cafe will be serving up ice cream. Experience everything Church Avenue has to offer…

Brooklyn Flea + Smorgasburg
The Flea and Smorg return this weekend to the great outdoors. On Saturday, the Flea is held at 176 Lafayette Ave. (between Clermont + Vanderbilt Avenues) in Fort Greene. On Sunday, the Flea will be at 27 North 6th Street (between Kent Avenue + East River). Saturday at the Williamsburg location is also the home of our all-food market, Smorgasburg. The Flea features over a 150 vendors offering a great mix of vintage, antiques, jewelry, and amazing food. Saturday & Sunday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Free.
