  • Was in the Union St house a while ago. total renovation needed. Plus, the back yard is sunken 6 feet lower than either neighbor so, if anyone builds on the next door lot, your backyard will be like a pit in the ground

Gowanus House looks like its priced pretty good! Its only one block off of prime Carrol Gardens, the block isnt a full brownstone block but @ 799k Id convert it to a duplex with a top floor rental. Build another floor above??? Sounds like another rental to me or a crazy roof deck, something like what they on top of Alma on Columbia St. This would be an awesome 203k deal…maybe the seller would take even less then this…looks like a cool project. Little shaky about the lot next door though…Everything else seems over priced to me though. I love that E 18th st house, its awesome. Just probably a hundred K or so over priced…The other 2 just dont do it for me at those prices.

  • Wow, that some amazing broker babble on the Union St. house. “newly renovated rear yard” = newly paved over with concrete. LOL!

  • East 18th looks very nice, but agree that they need to drop the price. I’d be more aggressive about it though, and cut it to $999,999 to generate some interest.

  • I saw the union street listing pop up on Zillow the other day and was all ZOMGWTF?!?

    But then I looked closer…

  • 1.25 south of Foster Ave? With no rental income? It’s damn pretty inside, but good luck…

The world’s deepest Jacuzzi Bidet sounds intriguing at the Williamsburg house. Do you fill the jacuzzi with water before, during, or after you use the included bidet feature?

Douglass Street looks quite large – five floors including the top setback one? Looks pricey but i’m guessing reno’d will equal sold. The pic in the list above seems different from the brick one on the brokers listing.

the copy on Robeling is classic selling to idiot hipsters. even the spelling and grammatical errors will increase salability. aaarrrgh i’m a pirate!! chicks dig eyepatches i’m guessing? a built in beard trimming station would have been nice, i don’t want to do any work on the place.

Union Street is a doll house, lets play! Can i use monopoly money?

Midwood looks to be the nicest of the bunch, but is that the price for east 18th street?

All hideous except for Midwood, which is cute as a button. That Union St. house is, as others like to throw around so often, a total gut job. Bring a talented architect and you could have something really nice there.

That’s really strange about the Union St. house backyard. Maybe it’s on a sink hole?

I was assuming the union street backyard was at ground level and the deck was off the 2nd floor – perhaps the roof of an extension. would be quite strange if otherwise.

  • Was in the Union Street house when it was listed with another broker. Needed a ton of work- floors were sinking/uneven because of foundation issues. Basically, you would need to gut the entire house and start over.
