Greenwood Heights Beer Garden Still Under Construction

There’s not been much news lately about the massive beer hall planned for Greenwood Heights by restaurateur Ted Mann. Greenwood Park, as the place is called, will take up an entire block of 7th Avenue between 19th and 20th streets and have dozens of beers on tap. Wednesday afternoon no construction workers were visible, although there’s been significant progress on the outdoor area, which will have a wood-burning fire pit. Ted Mann set the initial opening date for late last year, which obviously never came about. Community Board 7 has yet to hear an application for a liquor license, either. Anyone heard rumblings about the spot?
