Over the weekend General Greene, the popular brunch spot on Dekalb Avenue, shuttered. A restaurant source told The Local it was due to a broken water pipe. But a Local tipster (and a Brownstoner tipster) spotted that the eatery racked up 72 violation points during a Saturday inspection and was actually closed by the DOH….

Amin Indian Restaurant, right up the block, also got slapped with the yellow DOH sticker. Check out a picture after the jump.
