House of the Day: 91 Cambridge Place

Can Minsky pull it off again? That’s what the owners of 91 Cambridge Place are hoping in the wake of the veteran Clinton Hill broker’s stunning sale two doors down at 87 Cambridge Place. As you may recall, when the latter property hit the market asking $2,050,000, we expressed some doubt but were ultimately shown up when the one-family traded for a whopping $2,160,000. But Number 87 and Number 91 are part of a group of four similar Italianate houses that, while not as grand as some of brownstones of the period, are exceedingly charming. Like 87, Number 91 is also coming out of the gates asking $2,050,000. Since we know the owners we’re gonna pass on any predictions and just wish them luck. Another $2 million sale here would obviously be quite bullish for this corner of Clinton Hill!
