As previously noted by the Eagle and Curbed, the developer who is planning a new building at 30 Henry Street, where the Brooklyn Eagle building now stands, intends to have a waterfall on the property. The meeting minutes from Community Board 2’s land-use meeting last month shed some more light on plans for the Brooklyn Heights site:

[Architect] Stephen Byrns presented on the proposed five-story, five-unit building with accessible underground parking with the parking entrance slightly sloping down. The exterior of the building layout will consist of floors two to four with one layout; some containing 10″ balconies for flower boxes, casement windows and a separate layout for the penthouse. Mr Byrns explained that the entrance way into the building is though a covered passageway that leads to a courtyard; first. The courtyard has a waterfall that is visible through the exterior door entrance.

The committee voted to approve the design, which still needs to pass muster with Landmarks. Renderings have yet to surface.
