Join us Saturday, November 5th, for the first Brooklyn Craft Beer Week. The 8 night event will be kicking off at Sycamore with a crazy BBQ of winter delights. Be sure to check out the other great Brooklyn bars participating on the following nights. They include Beer Table, Mission Dolores, Bierkraft, Double Windsor, 4th Avenue Pub, Pacific Standard, and The Gate. Details and dates are available here.

Alice, or the Scottish Gravediggers at the Old Stone House
Polybe + Seats is proud to present the English-language debut of René-Charles Guilbert de Pixérécourt’s sinister 1829 melodrama at the Old Stone House in Park Slope, Brooklyn. Running all weekend until November 13th. Buy tickets here.

Battle For Brooklyn at IndieScreen
Battle for Brooklyn is screening at Williamsburg’s indieScreen this weekend. It is an intensely intimate look at the very public and passionate fight waged by owners and residents facing condemnation of their property to make way for the controversial Atlantic Yards project, a massive plan to build 16 skyscrapers and a basketball arena for the New Jersey Nets in the heart of Brooklyn. Shot over seven years and compiled from almost 500 hours of footage, BATTLE for BROOKLYN is an epic tale of how far people will go to fight for what they believe in. Showing Saturday and Sunday at 5pm, buy tickets here.

Brooklyn Flea + Smorgasburg
On Saturday, the Flea is held at 176 Lafayette Ave. (between Clermont + Vanderbilt Avenues) in Fort Greene. On Sunday, the Flea will be at 27 North 6th Street (between Kent Avenue + East River). Always free.
