Times Plaza Gets Some TLC

Yesterday DOT crews completed an arty temporary asphalt treatment at Times Plaza, outside the Atlantic Terminal. The installation features red and black asphalt, but it will only be in place until the permanent concrete paving of the plaza next year. (That construction will coincide with the MTA’s revamp of the older part of Times Plaza surrounding the head house.) A recent build-out of the plaza has included raised curbs and work on drainage and subsurface utilities.
