Ribbon Cutting for School Playground in Prospect Heights

A ribbon cutting was held yesterday for P.S. 9’s new playground. The school yard now has new play equipment as well as a variety of new features such as a basketball court, tennis courts and chess tables. The nonprofit Out2Play aided in construction, and funding came from Marty Markowitz, the Department of Education and the Barclays Nets Community Alliance.
