Last week Crain’s reported that the five-building complex on Berry Street between North 10th and North 11th streets that includes the space leased by Brooklyn Brewery was sold to a new owner who intends to eventually convert the properties to residential use. The properties fetched $16.4 million. The story says the conversion could be a long time coming, however: Brooklyn Brewery has a lease running through 2025, while two other tenants have leases that go through 2019.
